In 2012, Dr. Gerol Petruzella, Coordinator of Academic Technologies at Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts, redeveloped an existing freshman philosophy course into a complete semester-long immersive role-playing game, Dungeons & Discourse. On April 28, Petruzella visited Excelsior College to speak on how game theory and principles inform the design and implementation of an engaging blended learning, primarily online undergraduate course. The talk was presented by the Center for Game and Simulation-Based Learning at Excelsior College.
