Cardiovascular diseases and stroke afflict people of all races, so as part of Black History Month and American Heart Month, we will be discussing “Health Care Issues in Culturally Diverse Populations” during a live chat.

On February 13th, Dorcey Applyrs, faculty program director for Excelsior College’s School of Health Science answered questions on cultural competence and strategies health care organizations can use to create more inclusive service.
