Hillary K. Harding, CPA, has been named Excelsior’s next controller.
After a comprehensive search process, Excelsior College today announced Hillary K. Harding, CPA, as the institution’s next controller.
Harding comes to Excelsior from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, where she most recently served as administrator for finance & operations at Emory’s School of Medicine. Prior to her time in higher education, she worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers, Deloitte & Touche and Arthur Andersen in several audit and assurance positions.
“Hillary comes to us with a wealth of experience in the financial industry and possesses the types of personal qualities we look for in all of our candidates – professionalism, commitment and attention to detail,” said President John Ebersole. “Her experience working within higher education ensures she’ll be able to hit the ground running on day one and we’re thrilled to welcome her to the Excelsior community.”
In addition to her CPA, Harding is also a Certified Internal Auditor. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the State University of New York College at Geneseo and an MBA from Goizueta Business School at Emory University.
A resident of Guilderland, New York, Harding began work at Excelsior on January 21.
