Honor societies are organizations that recognize excellence among peers and at Excelsior College we have several societies that exist to reflect the diversity our disciplines and programs and celebrate the success of our amazing students.
During the Commencement celebrations this year, the School of Business and Technology conducted ceremonies to honor the new inductees to their various societies: Alpha Nu Sigma, Sigma Beta Delta, and Upsilon Pi Epsilon.
Alpha Nu Sigma National Honor Society
The Alpha Nu Sigma National Honor Society (ANSNHS) was established to recognize high scholarship, integrity, and potential achievement among outstanding degree-seeking nuclear engineering students at institutions of higher learning.
Excelsior recognized several students from our successful nuclear engineering program this year. Sigma Beta Delta
Sigma Beta Delta Honor Society recognizes students in business, management, and administration and serves institutions, such as Excelsior College, which offer undergraduate and graduate degrees in business, management, and administration and hold accreditation from a regional accrediting body, such as Middle States. A record number of our business and management students were inducted this year.

Upsilon Pi Epsilon
The mission of UPE is to recognize academic excellence at both the undergraduate and graduate levels in the Computing and Information Disciplines.
